RCI Unveils 2021 Resort Recognition Program Honorees

47 percent of the 4,200 RCI affiliated resorts worldwide recognized for outstanding service by travelers

ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 14, 2021)RCI, the world’s premier vacation exchange company under the Panorama portfolio of leading travel membership brands, unveiled the network’s best resorts of 2020 as part of the company’s prestigious Resort Recognition Program.

The RCI® Resort Recognition Program, now in its 29th year, highlights affiliated resorts that meet or exceed the program’s high standards by providing exceptional vacation experiences to both timeshare owners and guests. RCI has established three distinguished rankings, RCI Gold Crown®, RCI Silver Crown®, or RCI Hospitality® which are determined annually using the rigorous criteria established by the company. These select resorts have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to quality and consumer satisfaction through superior performance as measured by customer feedback. This year, nearly half of all RCI affiliated resorts have been recognized for quality and service by travelers, and 25 percent achieved RCI Gold Crown status – RCI’s highest level of achievement, for providing exceptional levels of resort accommodations, hospitality, and member experiences.

RCI subscribing members looking to stay at RCI Gold Crown, RCI Silver Crown, or RCI Hospitality ranked resorts can find these properties highlighted online in the resort listing. Most resorts proudly display a RCI recognition plaque at their properties.

Holiday Inn Club Vacations, Hilton Grand Vacations, and Bluegreen Vacations are among the companies whose resorts have achieved this prestigious honor.

“This year, we are especially grateful to be recognized by RCI and its members,” said Tom Nelson, Chief Executive Officer at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated. “Through every challenge, our resort teams continue to respond with creativity and courage. Because of their dedication to delivering safe and memorable stays, our resorts can provide a trusted home-away-from-home to Holiday Inn Club members and RCI guests to reconnect with loved ones. We are excited to welcome families as they return to beloved traditions and annual vacations that may have been missed.”

RCI, which pioneered the timeshare exchange concept more than 45 years ago, is reinventing how timeshare owners vacation for the new shape of today’s travel with enhanced product offerings for its nearly 4 million members around the world.

“This year we introduced the new RCI, which is evolving beyond its storied history as the timeshare industry’s most renowned exchange partner. Today, we are expanding our services as the trusted travel advisor to our members and affiliates — not just once a year, but every time members leave home for their personal or business travel,” said Richard Ruff, senior vice president and managing director of RCI North America. “RCI is committed to strengthening the resort timeshare industry by helping to ensure that timeshare owners enjoy high-quality vacation experiences. The Resort Recognition Program honors affiliated resorts that adhere to high standards of product quality and service delivery.”
